Q: What is your hourly rate?/ What is your shop minimum?

A: Our shop minimum is $100. Single sitting tattoos are priced based on size, detail, colors, and difficulty. We charge $150/hour for large projects. PLEASE NOTE: It is impossible to estimate cost over the phone or via email. Any quote or estimate can be provided at the conclusion of your consultation, ONLY.

Q: How do I make a consultation appointment?

A: Each of our artist handles consultations in a different manner. We highly suggest you select an artist you would like to work with beforehand. To make an appointment, please call us at 617-250-9903 during our business hours, which are Monday-Saturday from noon-8pm, and Sundays Noon-6. Unfortunately we do not take consultation appointments over email.

Q: Do I need an appointment to get a piercing?

A: Sorry. We NO LONGER provide Piercing services. We are 100% focused on Tattoos only.

Q: Do I need to set up a consultation before making an appointment for a tattoo?

A: Yes. If your tattoo is not a walk-in, you must call and set up a consultation with an artist first. During the consultation, you will discuss with the artist your tattoo ideas, designs, and goals. During your consultation, you and your artist will also schedule your appointment.

Q: What are Walk-ins?

A: Walk-in tattoos are small, simple tattoos that require absolutely NO drawing time and absolutely NO consultation time. This means that if you have a small image, say, for example, a green shamrock or initials, and you have it printed out and you know exactly where it’s going, then THAT is a perfect walk-in tattoo! However, if your tattoo requires any time talking to an artist or drawing/consulting, then you must make a consultation appointment beforehand. Please note that ALL cover-ups require a consultation. Q: What should I bring with me to my consultation?

A: Sketches, drawings, print-outs, and references are greatly appreciated by your artist. This helps give him or her a better and clearer idea of what you want and how you want it to look on your body. If you don’t have any references, just coming in with a clear idea of what you want helps! Along with sketches, ideas, and drawings, you’ll also want to bring $50 with you so you can make a deposit. The $50 will go to the total cost of your tattoo and will secure your appointment. The $50 deposit is non-refundable, and if you miss your appointment, you will lose the $50!

Q: Should I tip my tattoo artist?

A: If you are satisfied with your tattoo and your experience, a tip is always greatly appreciated!

Q: My piercing/tattoo feels strange, looks weird. What should I do?

A: Call us! Don’t try to self-medicate…always call the shop first and ask us. No question is a stupid one!

Q: Where can I get gift cards, or Pino Bros Ink t-shirts?

A: For gift cards, t-shirts, and other Pino Bros Ink merch, you can order them online, or by calling or stopping by the shop!

A: Sorry, that is not possible here.

Q: I’m drunk. Can I get a tattoo?

A: Sorry. We absolutely cannot pierce or tattoo you if you are under the influence of any substance.
